Systems thinking is really valuable, interested that this might provide more experience in guidance in that
I've always been passionate about social change and humanitarian work. I work and volunteer for many non-profit organizations in Calgary and across Canada. thought i'd check this out
from the environmental field I think it is an important approach and interested to see how it translates to incorporate multiple fields
Seems like a great opportunity to put systems thinking and social innovation to practice, while working liked-minded peers!
It’s a unique experience involving students at various stages of their education, from different programs to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary environment to tackle different social problems. Looking at previous projects, it would be interesting to collaborate, research, and form solutions with others. It’s definitely an inspiring and great way to be involved in the community.
Interested in applying my scientific and coding background to real world/real life problems and scenarios.

The U of C is a system, Calgary is a system, my family is a system... etc. Depends on your level of analysis

there wasn't enough research done before taking action
consider potential unintended consequences
Unintended consequences arise from complex systems
Need to understand the relations between a variety of things
